We just wanted to take a moment and post a few housekeeping reminders as we move into week 4 of our season. Yes we are all adults, and while no one wants to feel “policed,” there are certain steps that we all must take in order to continue to enjoy Softball Sundays safely & responsibly:
1. Masks are MANDATORY at all times when not engaged in on field play. This applies to guests & spectators as well, and anytime you move around the park. Anyone resisting (or in violation of this policy) will be removed from Lake Fairview immediately—with no questions asked.
2. Dogs are NOT allowed in the park. If your pet is not a registered service animal (w/ paperwork), do not bring it to Lake Fairview.
3. Make sure that we are removing any trash and all disposable items from the dugouts at the conclusion of games. Leaving a dugout full of garbage behind—including crushed up beer cans—is completely unacceptable. Beware of open containers, use cups for your

Please see the below memo as issued by the CFSL Executive Committee re: the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic. We are monitoring this situation very closely, and will be posting updates as needed. Stay tuned to our website and Facebook group for the most up to date information re: games, events etc.
Due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and other health authorities, CFSL is implementing some new, mandatory health and safety procedures as part of a proactive approach to preventing the spread of germs.
CFSL takes this threat very seriously. With over 500 members in our league, we believe it imperative to issue the following health and safety and adopt the following procedures to ensure we are taking a proactive approach to preventing the spread of germs.
Effective on Sunday, February 28th and for the rest of the Spring 2021 season, CFSL requests all members of the league to follow these guidelines (similar to the guidelines other organizations have issued):
CFSL will continue to provide hand sanitizer, soap, at all games. Masks are mandatory when not engaged in play.
Social distancing is required when inside the park, and tailgating is still not permitted at this time. Teams need to exit the park immediately upon the conclusion of their game(s).
CFSL is immediately instituting a precautionary “no-contact, no-handshake policy” to be observed at every level of the organization until further notice. This includes all physical contact and extends to customary game-related activities, such as post-game handshakes between members of opposing teams. Instead, staff, players and coaches should use verbal queues, such as saying “good game,” without shaking hands, high-fiving or fist-bumping.
We encourage all members to observe good hygiene practices and avoid coming out to Sunday games or host bar events if you are feeling ill. We strongly encourage the following:
